<description>My heart sank as I saw this post. Sorry to hear of Heyoka's passing. I remember the times I was staying at the house and how Heyoka and I spent time together. Your in my thoughts often. I lost your number when my phone broke. Even thou I didn't call I felt connected when I had your number.
Thanks for all your support over the years.
Lovingly
Thia

<description>I am very sorry that you lost your dear pet. It is one of the greatest things to be loved by your pet and to enjoy that close bond. I'm glad you saw him in the light of the angels embrace and that it is a comfort to know where he is.

<description>What a beautiful Tribute and wonderful poem. It brought tears to my eyes. My dogs have taught me more about Love, Compassion and Gratitude than any other thing in my life and my heart goes out to you for the loss of your friend.

<description>I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is to lose a great friend like Heyoka. It's been almost a year since I lost my Greta who had just turned 15.

They are more than friends, they are our guides, our companions and teachers too. You were a great mom to love your Heyoka so much and you are a great lady. I wish you all the best during your recovery.

Bless you,

Paul

PS - Here's the Rainbow Bridge Poem -

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
